we bought the red one and it is very charming! so far it’s taking the chill out of our sunroom w these gorgeous fall days and nights! just a note, the control panel is hidden behind the door. to access all of the functions w the remote, you need to open the door to set temperature and timer. you may be able to change these functions w the door closed, but you wouldn’t be able to see what you’re choosing. with the door closed, the remote turns the heater on off you can adjust the look of the flame.. Sooo beautiful! I love how realistic the logs look! I love the amber effect when they're lit. The temp blows out hot, but my one star removal is because there's not a way to easily go up and down in temp on the remote or on the unit, when you push the button it just goes up in degrees to eventually reset back down. You can go down one if you went too high in temp. The entire base of unit gets super hot. But it is self-contained heat, meaning it doesn't make the surround or the thing it's sitting on hot. Only any areas right in front of the heating element get hot, so can't have wood or other combustibles in that area. But if you have wood or other combustible material underneath or to the sides or to the back, it will not get hot. So that's nice. It's compact in width but deep. The feet extend further than the unit itself, so note that if building your fireplace yourself like I'm working on. Otherwise, still love it! (Ps, after you turn it off, it takes a minute or so for the blower to stop. Then it takes a little while got the metal frame to stop being hot. But, love the ambiance!. Megan. US. Fri Oct 16 2026

box arrived damage, but it was packed really well, and the unit itself is not damaged. I’m really impressed with the color and style. It’s still too warm to test it out, but I really really really can’t wait to set it up. It came complete with the instructions and all the parts. Overall, would highly recommend.. Augustus. It’s more of a creamy yellow white vs a bright white - not a dealbreaker for me although I maybe would’ve chosen black had I seen the actual color. You can have the fire and flame on without the heat, which is nice for aesthetics. The heat function works quickly and would be sure to heat up a room to comfortability. I do think it runs constantly vs reaching a certain temperature and turning off like a thermostat. It does have a safety feature that will turn off the heater if it overheats.. Sayde. Tulsa, OK. I didn't even know Duraflame made heaters! I have only used their fire starters before. This heater puts out so much heat! I haven't been able to test it in the cold of the winter yet but it's currently 80 degrees outside and I can feel the heat from it from several feet away even with it this warm outside. The flame effects it puts off on the backside really emulate real looking flames too. I love it.. Meghan. Austin, TX. Thu Oct 08 2026

This was the perfect solution to our old fireplace that needs upgrades to be functional. Works as a heater to keep the room warm, the crackling sounds are a nice touch but do sound slightly artificial.. Kimberly. Sat Apr 18 2026

Cozy vibes are yours with this duraflame® Electric Fireplace Wall Mantel. Sturdy enough to support TVs up to 40 lbs., this wall mantel creates a charming spot for everyone to gather and relax. Add the perfect ambiance with the patent pending 3D Flame® Effect; the brightness levels and flame speeds can be easily changed for a customizable look. And thanks to independent heat and flame controls, you can turn on the glowing, lifelike flames any time of the year. This fireplace can even save you up to 15% on your energy bills, thanks to a 5,200 BTU supplemental heater that warms any room up to 1,000 square feet.

This is a beautiful fireplace! It came quickly in one large, heavy box that contains several smaller boxes. It was much easier to carry the smaller boxes inside. The assembly took roughly 2 12 hours with one person and a power drill. The instructions are clear and very easy to follow. You will assemble the entire fireplace upside down, except for the logs. If youre doing it by yourself, make sure youre able to lift heavy items. I had to ask for help to turn it right-side up because I wasnt confident I could do it by myself without damaging it. After placing right-side up, its easy to maneuver on hardwood floor. The flame has one flickering color setting (multi-colored with orange and blue), 3 glowing logs, and 5 levels of brightness and flame speed. You can adjust with the remote or buttons on the firebox. The flame can be used with or without heat. There is a timer that you can set between 30 minutes and 9 hours. The heat comes out of a blower on the top left and adjusts easily based on desired temperature from 62 to 82 degrees Fahrenheit (you can also change this to Celsius). The blower isnt especially loud, similar to a standing fan. I didnt turn it on for long since its almost summer but it heated up quickly. The background can be the brick look or just black. The fireplace is very sturdy, easily holding my 58in TV and is the perfect height to watch from my bed. The storage above the fireplace is bigger than it initially looks. The drawer opening is 6 in tall but the inside is 9in tall x 34in wide x 11in deep. I wanted storage big enough to hold a Wii game system and game discs (and it does). I will have to put a hole in the back panel for the cords though. I do wish this unit had more flame options but overall, Im happy with my purchase.. Julia B.. IL. Sun May 17 2026

This fireplace puts out good heat and I love the different flames it puts out, very nice, I can control the amount of heat from the couch with my remote, LOVE IT. Leslie. Chenoa, IL. Sun Sep 06 2026
