Looks great! It’s very sturdy. The black looks really nice. Took my husband two hours to put together but he wasn’t rushing. The drawers open smoothly but they do make slight sound as it sort of scrapes along the metal. The drawers don’t have stoppers so COULD fall on toes BUT they’re so deep that I can’t imagine that happening. We do plan to remedy that in some way because it for our 7yo son, but not necessary for older kids or adults. chair opening is very large which makes it nice for widercrossed-legged chairs. It does take quite a bit of time to put together but I wouldn’t say it was hard. The directions had a lot of detail and were simple to follow. I put it together mostly alone over two days (desk one day, hutch the next). My only complaint is the picture on Wayfair is misleading in color. It is not a true grey as I had hoped. There are a couple of things to be aware of: 1) Although easy to do, there are many pieces to assemble, so count on maybe 2-3 hours of time to fully assemble the desk, hutch and all of the drawers. 2) Given the type of coated particle board construction that is used, there were some small blemishes on corners/ends of a few of the pieces. Generally pretty happy with this. Feels solid, instructions were clear, easy to put together. Only issue was that on the middle shelf, not sure if the pilot holes underneath weren't deep enough, but the screws to secure it to the bar ended up creating enough pressure that it pushed a point up and cracked the finish, and the screws hadn't even gone in all the way yet. But not major enough to really notice unless you look closely. I enjoy the simple and minimalistic design that allowed me to avoid creating holes to put up shelves while still having shelves.. Jose. Delivery was not so great, box looked like it had gone through a battlefield. Luckily there was no damage parts inside the box. The desk took me about an hour to put together.
