Wanted this for someone who would be sleeping and watching television in the bedroom frequently and there wasn’t space for a separate seating area. I paid for assembly and the person was able to build it without any issues. The drawers below are a little flimsy, but love the extra added storage under the bed. I love this day bed. Not sure how comfy it will be for sleeping, but it is comfy for napping! I wish that the two pieces were connected so when you set it up as a queen size bed the two cushions stayed together.. but I guess I'll have to depend on the sheets and matress pads to do that. Or maybe buy a gap filler. Even if it came with a strip of velcro you could attach when you fold it out. The corners were not as tight and square as the picture. It takes a little more effort to get the inserts stuffed into the covers, but it works. Overall the assembly was easy and took about 45 minutes. It is very sturdy and well made otherwise.. Kristen.
