Bed is nice and heavy. Only problem was we were missing the #4 screws. Thankfully we didn't need them until close to the end of putting the bed together. Making this bed is easy, our mattress is a Saatva Firm at 14”. Mattress drops nicely and fills the platform leaving a small gap to tuck sheets. Mattresses nowadays are very heavy but this bed allows picking up the corners without throwing out your back. Bed stays in place with no squeaking or cracking sounds. Ours arrived flawlessy. This bed is pretty great. Mostly solid wood, sits level and looks nice. I only have 2 complaints for why I didn’t give it 5 stars. The assembly stickers that say “this end up” were upside down which was a pain as it wasn’t noticed until after it was installed, so I had to take it back apart. The bed looks gorgeous when assembled and is a great value for the price. I paid for expert assembly and it was well done. I haven’t used it much as if yet so can’t speak to durability. The Wayfair delivery process is exceptionally kloogy, nothing arrives on the anticipated dates - it’s either inconveniently prior or post (and changes). Beautiful bedframe! Easy to put together. And really just fits our neutralboho vibe. The curved headboard is everything! We put a 14” queen mattress on it and it fits perfectly. Highly recommend using your own tools to put it together (not the tool included) and the headboard is only secured at one point so it feels a little loose but with the bed flushed against the wall, it is not a problem..
