Made with solid pine wood and engineered wood back panels. Very solid, heavy piece. Smooth black finish. Three front doors have separation in between the slats so you can see inside of it. Middle cabinet shelf has three different heights available. The two outside cabinets only have one height for the shelves. Two outside shelves have rear entry cable management openings. I had trouble with the backpiece fitting into the grooves exactly. Unfortunately, I damaged it trying to make it fit. Otherwise, extremely easy to assemble. This is a beautiful tv stand we just couldn't get parts of it together properly. Probably user error. Me, my kids, and my husband all tried to get the doors to sit properly and the sides to go in right but we couldn't. It still looks great but we can see the problems. The doors for one side have a gap in the middle that the other set of doors doesn't. I measured the doors to see if any were smaller and they're all the same size. We took them off and adjusted them a few times but couldn't make them right. We also couldn't get the other edges to sit in grooves and stay there so there are parts just not in the grooves. Again, another thing other might not notice but we do. It took us about 8 hours to do it, a lot of that was the taking the doors on and off though. The fluted detail is really pretty.. Elle.
