Very disappointing purchase. The sofa looks much better in the photos and description than it performs in real life. This sofa is great if you want to open up all the pieces and lay them down for floor seating or for kids to play on, just like in the photo in the description.
The individual pieces don’t securely connect to one another and there is no real support structure holding them in place. As a result, the sections constantly shift and slide around when you sit down.
You constantly have to reposition and straighten everything just to make the sofa usable.
We specifically purchased this because we wanted spacious, comfortable seating that could be configured for a family room and play area. Unfortunately, the lack of structural support, constantly moving sections, poor back support, and inability to hold its shape make it impractical for sofa type seating, but is excellent when all pieces are opened and spread out - ideal for adults and kids to lounge and play on..
