Only labeling this bed 4 stars due to the slats not being manufactured closer together. The slats should be 3 inches apart for the best support according to online resources but are 3.5 inches apart. They did not specify otherwise but that’s ok we just got some plywood to help. However outside of that it’s 5 stars all around, looks just like the photo, beautiful color, feels well built. I recently purchased the Ophelia Solid Wood Platform Bed in the Chalk finish (King size) and I couldn’t be happier. This bed is everything I wanted and more. Assembly was manageable, though I was disappointed that the side rails are made in separate sections that connect together rather than being one continuous solid rail. This design makes the frame feel a bit less sturdy than I expected and contributes to a slightly flimsy feel in certain areas.
