These solar lights are beautiful but I have tried and tried to remove the plastic cover off the solar panel area on one of them. I even read that I could use warm water and that did not work. I also read you can warm it up with a blow dryer and that did not work. I am being extra careful to not damage the surface. Pretty cool lights. I know they are for a fence but they are a little too wide for my fence so I will have to rethink where I will use them probably on my deck, but for now Im using them on my pathway. I ordered these solar powered pathway lights to illuminate and give a little touch of ambiance to the walkway down the side of my house. These lights came very well packaged and took two minutes to assemble/connect the ground bases. They turned on immediately and I was in love with the perfect white light they provided. It has rained twice since they were placed outside and I have watered the garden several times in this area and they definitely seem waterproof. They are really well made.
