I initially paid extra for professional assembly, but once I unpacked everything, I realized it was much simpler than expected. In fact, I canceled my assembly appointment because it simply wasn’t worth spending the extra $100. I was able to put the entire sectional together by myself, and I’m a small woman, so I think most people will find the setup very manageable. My only minor complaint is that some of the pillows arrived with a few smudges or marks on them, likely from handling during packaging. It seemed as though whoever packed the item may not have been wearing gloves. Fortunately, the marks were minor and didn’t affect my overall satisfaction with the product. Omg, I was doubting about getting this couch because reviews didn’t show pictures, but here is an honest review. Shipping was amazing, I was called 2 times before it came, one when he was heading this way and another one when he was here. The couch in general is amazing, fabric and cushions are so soft and it is loungey but you don’t sink into it, so it doesn’t make it easy to stand up but still VERY comfortable, all cushion covers are removable and can be washed which I think it’s the best specially having a pet or kids. I'm really happy with this storage ottoman! It was actually much larger than I expected, so it didn't fit in the original spot I had planned for it. That ended up being a blessing because it looks perfect in our living room and doubles as extra seating when we have guests over. The storage compartment is roomy enough to hold one large throw blanket or about two to three smaller blankets, which is great for keeping the living room tidy. The only thing I wish it had is hinges on the lid. Since the top is completely removable, it doesn't always sit perfectly flush when you put it back on, so you have to adjust it a little. One unexpected bonus is that my dogs are obsessed with it! The fabric is incredibly soft, and it's large enough for them to stretch out and lay on comfortably.
