This tent is absolute garbage. The website says it’s heavy duty and comes with reinforced steel cables, but the poles are a ridiculously undersized diameter for anything you would leave outside, and the reinforced steel cables were small nylon ropes. The feet that you’re supposed to bolt onto the bottom of the posts had some of the holes still in place, so I had to drill those out. I’d estimate the thickness of the steel used to manufacture these poles to be roughly the same as five sheets of tinfoil pressed together. I’ll be lucky if this lasts one full season. My best estimate is 3 to 6 months or the first wind gust. If you’re looking for a tent that will come apart in the first inclement weather & blow across your property destroying everything in its path, this is the tent for you! to make matters worse, Wayfair wants me to pay $50 to return their highly misrepresented trash to them. I included a photo that shows the thickness of the metal they’re using in the poles, but don’t let the angle of that photo misrepresent the pole diameter. What a nice product offered by Wayfair. I would have never imagined that Wayfair would offer a carport. This one was so easy to assemble. The cover is heavy duty and seems like it will stand up to the weather where we live. There are sides that we opted not to put on so the car would fit easier and we would have more room to get in and out. It’s nice that the sides are optional. Only took about 2 hours to get the carport up and usable. If we decide to add the sides on, it looks like an easy task just like the main section.
