This pot is awesome ! It can cook a small to extra large batch of just about anything. In addition, I use when home canning so I get double use out of it in that manner. If I decide to keep something in in overnight, it easily fits into my frog because of the flat lid. It saves room in my cabinets too due to the flat lid. I own 2 of these now. I’ve used the first one for about 2 years and have had no problems. I do always use soft utensils when stirring so as not to scratch the inside of it. This is expensive for a single pot in my opinion but I was willing to pay the extra because of its size and versatility and the way in which it has held up over several years. Our new saucepan turned out to be the perfect size for us, in between our smallest and the medium one. It’s very pretty. It cleans up easily and I did not even “season” it like the instructions suggested. So far I’ve only simmered vegetables in it and it worked fine. What a work of art I thought I was crazy for spending so much money on 1 single pot after opening it I have zero regrets.I did some research before buying and was scared I would get a Chinese copy but as you can see from the photo it has made in Brazil right on the bottom to me that’s a big win.When I took it out of the box I thought forsure it had something in it because it’s extremely heavy for it size and the fit and finish is top notch very pleased with my purchase hopefully this will last me a lifetime much better than replacing 15-20$ pot every few years after the toxic coatings come off in my food.. I wanted a non-stick griddle that would be good for eggs or pancakes. I know these types of teflon non-stick pans are being fazed out for ceramic non-stick.
