Pretty nice and sturdy. It comes in 7 boxes + box with screens and curtains if that’s the model purchased. I wish the assembly instructions were in box one and that the instructions told you where the hardware was, The instructions and hardware are in box 5. Make sure all parts are not damaged before starting assembly especially the key structure parts. Some of my louvers were dented but the didn’t effect my assembly. They were replaced, but it took a week to get the replacements. Wayfair and manufacturer were responsive and easy to deal with but it took time to get the replacement parts. Very difficult to understand, the the instructions to hang the Curtains and Netting, are alful! Not only no worded instructions, but the holes in the track are put in the wrong place! We had to ask ChatGpT to help us, they also said this was an ongoing problem, they have had many customers come to them for help. Once my husband was able to get all the pieces working I do like the final look. The legs are not solid wood but wood pieces. However it is still heavy and sturdy. No damage to wood. We are very happy with the finished gazebo—it looks great and really elevates the space. Installation was straightforward overall. It does take some time, but the process isn’t overly complicated if you’re patient and organized. A couple of helpful notes from our experience since we installed this near a chlorinated pool, we chose to use stainless steel anchors instead of the ones provided for better long-term durability. Also, measuring for anchor placement requires precision—there’s very little room for error. What worked well for us was assembling the top rail (the horizontal support connecting the three vertical posts) first, then standing the structure upright. This allowed us to accurately mark all 12 anchor holes before drilling. We did run into a manufacturing issue after unboxing (not related to shipping), but customer service was excellent. The replacement process was smooth and handled quickly, which we really appreciated. Overall, we’re very pleased with the final product—both in function and aesthetics. We really love our new pergola. Our Wayfair installer did a fantastic job. He said it was very easy to put together and made very efficiently with few parts. I put the side walls together and they were challenging. I highly recommend more than one person assembles and install sidewalls. We’ve been having consistent rain for the past few days and the gutter system works fantastic. We do not have any water coming through the roof when it’s closed.
