5x8 Wood Shed Kit

This beautifully designed 6x8 Garden shed offers ample storage space in a convenient, space-saving size. 6ft. tall side walls provide plenty of height to hang pots and gardening tools. Two shelves keep your commonly used tools so you have space for lawnmowers and wheelbarrows. The heavy-duty Galvalume roof system reduces interior heat and is completely rust-resistant. The wood shed siding is pre-primed to prevent rot and decay.

The 10 ft. W X 8 ft. D Avondale Storage Shed from Handy Home products is a great solution for your backyard storage needs! Extra-wide double doors measure 54" wide. The doors are pre-assembled and pre-hung and comes with complete system. The shed doors come with a durable, rust-resistant swivel hasp and galvanized steel hinges. Hinges are continuous from top to bottom to prevent sagging. Smartside siding is treated to prevent fungal decay and insect infestation.

The exterior walls are so thin that I would never recommend stapling a vapor barrier on the interior because the Staples come through on the outside even if they are very short. The frame beams are twisted and crooked, overall it is a poor quality kit. The instructions are easy, however the quality of the wood is very poor. I thought I was getting a good deal but I was not.. Great project to build if you’re handy. All the wood was in good shape. I suppose 2x4s could have been a bit better. Wish the floor was pressure treated and a bit more supported by some extra joists. While I think this shed will ultimately serve its intended purpose I was disappointed that it didn't tell me that I needed to get a variety of nails and screws for assembly.
