I was not thrilled about a dark color so I took fabric and glue gunned it all around the wood pieces after I assembled most of it, their was enough room to do this and it worked great. It's not going to be a family heirloom by any means, but it is perfect for my needs in the guest room. Delivery was on time and it was easy enough to put together with an extra set of hands. I ended up cancelling the home assembly. Note: You will need something to cover your box-spring, or bedding that can be tucked down past it, because it will show through the space in the footboard, which is pretty unsightly.. Anonymous.
