I'm using it as a small office/desk. I had assemblers/handymen put it together and it took about 1.5 hours for 2 guys - that cost $220. I did not use the hanger/clothes pole. I got 2 black laminate shelves from Menards that are 12" deep to use as additional storage (see photo - top 2 shelves are NOT included in the purchase - I added these such that I can store more office supplies). I also had a hole put through the back of the unit for my printer cord which will sit on the top of the drawer. My laptop will go on center shelf. Cost of chest is very effective and materials are not the greatest but it does not look cheap when completed. I wouldn't store this anywhere with high humidity. This wardrobe is adorable! I am actually using it as storage in my laundry area. It took me a few hours to assemble. I used an impact (power screwdriver) even though the instructions say to use a screwdriver. It's way faster just be careful not to plow through the screw holes. I was a little worried this wouldn't be that sturdy since the boards are a little thin, but it's actually pretty good. I arrived in 2 boxes which helped with moving them into the house because they are HEAVY. Assembly was pretty straight forward and the instructions were clear. I also really like that they included adjustable hinges and instructions on how to adjust them. When I took the pictures we hadn't adjusted them yet, but they look good now. Also we decided to leave one door off and use it as open display space which turned out super cute. Overall we love the additional storage it provides and are very happy with it.. Virginia.
