Updated May 2026 The particles have disappeared- maybe absorbed with moisture of bathroom or just settled. Enclosure cover is easy to remove. The transformer has knockouts on three sides with clips for line voltage wiring. Secondary wiring for class 2 transformers does not require conduit sheathed cable or clamp wiring techniques. This transformer has a low minimum load requirement of 1W to allow the use of LED products. Maybe dimmed using an electronic low voltage dimmer.

I love this light. It recesses nicely into the ceiling, dims well without any flickering. Lighting temperature is adjustable, however the fixture must be removed to change.
