The bookshelf is wonderful. Very sturdy and it looks high quality. As you can see I am using for our tv and it’s deep enough where the hdmi cords have room to be plugged in horizontally into the back of the tv. One heads up though, the package is HEAVYYY so be ready to have someone help you carry it in. Other than that, once it was built (which the assembly was so easy) it wasn’t to hard to move around to where I wanted it. Works for me, but I would have been really upset if I had paid full price. Majority of the pieces had some sort of damage that could have been solved with better packing. The backing is pretty flimsy and has really visible creases that I couldn't smooth out. I covered the back with wallpaper bc I thought it was cute. The laminate is pretty thin and seems to be easily damaged. Overall satisfied with it, but I would have preferred something a bit more elevated. Just hard to find a good balance of price and value.. Put together very well - only issue was the cracked and dented side piece so I swapped what side they are on so this broken piece was hidden. A very large and heavy piece. I had expected a bit more robustness to the hardware that was provided but it looks like the thin back panel does some of the structural support. That panel itself was a bit shoddy - 4 panels held together by tape. Also, definitely consider securing it to the wall if you are placing it on carpet because it will wobble. When my bookshelf arrived, one of the pieces was damaged. I reached out to customer support, and they responded quickly and immediately offered to send a replacement part. In the meantime, I was able to repair the issue myself, although it did take a few hours of extra work. By the time support got back to me, I had already completed the assembly and no longer needed the replacement part. Even so, they were committed to making things right, which I really appreciated. As someone with absolutely no furniture-building experience, I was able to assemble the entire bookshelf on my own with just a screwdriver and some patience. Despite the initial hiccup, the finished product is sturdy, attractive, and exactly what I was hoping for.
