LOVE this chair! Well made, sturdy, arrived well packaged, and easy to assemble. For those who do not already sit cross-legged, I would suggest allowing a period of time for your body to adjust to sitting easily in the posture. It is well worth the effort as a seated cross-legged position naturally allows the body to maintain a healthy posture. For me, I had already taken the time to learn to sit cross-legged before purchasing the chair and found that I did not need to raise the upper seat at all in order to achieve a comfortable seat. The main surface (where the crossed legs rest) is large and comfortable. I had to raise my desk about 3 inches in order to allow for my knees to go underneath the desk and my hands/arms to fall in a comfortable position to type. Again, well worth the adjustment. When I do sit for long periods of time, I experience fatigue in my back and core, but that is to be expected as those areas strengthen after sitting in a chair where I did not have to engage those muscles. So far so good! I needed a chair that I could sit in a variety of ways as my kneeling chair has recently been bothering my legs. I like sitting on this backwards and leaning forward into the back rest, sitting semi cross legged, sitting in weird other positions, or using the bottom part for my small chihuahua copilot. I had a small part break upon assembly but it seems like I'll also be able to get a replacement. It's a funky big chair but the white casters also make it a little less obnoxious in my light painted farmhouse. The orange color is fun. I thought the price made it worth the gamble on this unique chair and I'm happy with it after the first few days. It is a little unwieldy sometimes, so I think being intentional getting in/out is a good idea if you're not super nimble, but I'm also sure I'll get used to it. This chair always makes me happy to settle in to work at home! I got it so my 25 lb. dogs could sit by me more comfortably while I’m working. They sadly won’t sit next to me by the arms because my dogs are too long and the pillow-style makes them not feel secure there. I loved this chair in the photo and I love it more in person because it’s a little lighter in color in person. It was extremely easy to put together. My husband did help which made it go faster. It took us about 30 minutes and that included unwrapping all the parts and breaking down the cardboard afterwards. What I didn’t realize about the chair is that it is very wide. I’m 5’ 4” and 125lbs. but this chair could easily hold a person who weighs 300lbs. The arms are nice the way you can move them completely out of the way which will be good when I’m sewing/quilting. It moves up and down smoothly and the casters also roll nicely on the floor which again is good for sewing and quilting. The box was a little bit banged up but the chair was in good shape. It was a great buy, especially for the price compared to other options. It was easy to put together and there are English instructions! The instructions to attach the armrests and the footrest were missing but it was easy to figure out by looking at the illustrations. I love this office chair! It was so easy to put together and I did it without any help. The seat and back cushion are really plush and comfy. A traditional office chair is hard for me to sit in for long periods because my left leg will start to go numb. But I can sit cross-legged in this one and its so much more comfortable. The instructions say you can use it for a yoga chair as well so I cant wait to try it out for that. The wheels roll smoothly and it goes up and down easily. Overall this is a very interesting chair. I love that it is adjustable on the top and bottom. The lower level also can move side to side for better seating and more comfortability. My son loves this chair. He is 13 and saved up for it himself. He assembled it himself in 25 minutes or so. He changes positions a LOT when studying, so this chair suits all of that--he uses both the criss cross seated option, the reclining option, and the "normal" sitting option repeatedly. He said 4 stars because he feels that's what it deserves, I'm guessing overall due to perceived quality, longevity, sturdiness, and then more specifically due to wondering if/when the arm rest adjustability features will give out in time since he flexes that feature with high frequency.
