I recently purchased the Donati 9-Drawer Dresser and wanted to share my experience for anyone considering it. First, be prepared—this is definitely a project if you’re assembling it on your own. I started putting it together around 7 PM, worked until about 2 AM, then picked it back up the next day around 1 PM and finished around 6 PM. It’s time-consuming and can feel a bit challenging at times, but I actually enjoyed the process and found it rewarding to see it come together. There were a few minor issues with some of the wood panels having small chips, but nothing too noticeable once everything was assembled. Overall, the dresser is very sturdy and feels well-made. The finished look is absolutely beautiful and makes the effort worth it. If you’re patient and don’t mind spending the time assembling it, I would definitely recommend it. The instructions were excellent, it took me about 4 hours to put it together because I go slowly and carefully and of course only used a screwdriver. The drawers in the middle don't glide very well. The middle one at the bottom needs to be pushed back hard to close which is weird because everything was assembled meticulously. I might stick some silicone bumper pads there for the noise. Nailing the backing was a little useless since it didn’t want to attach to the frame (it kind of balloons out just a bit, which doesn’t affect anything I believe, the dresser is against the wall). The drawers are small so in the future I will buy a dresser with bigger drawers, maybe a 6-drawer dresser.
