1 star. Worst purchase Ive made from Wayfair. I buy almost all my furniture from Wayfair and it usually hits the mark. My U-shaped sectional has been phenomenal. This coffee table is the exception. I got it on sale for around 200, and I cant believe how bad it is. Assembly took me from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. This is really a two-person job. You need someone to hold the pieces steady while the other lines them up and screws them in. Its a miracle I got it built alone. Also, if you dont have an electric screwdriver, dont even bother. Theres no way to do this by hand without destroying your hands. Some of the holes are misaligned, badly enough that sometimes you have to drill your own. The pieces have to be positioned just right for the holes to line up with the screws, and if youre off even a little, you have to unscrew the whole section and fight with it until its semi-lined up. Even then, some screws went in at an angle, and a few were so hard to get in that I stripped them completely just forcing them in. Worst of all, I followed the instructions step by step and the hinges still ended up backwards. The instructions are wrong or unclear on this part, so now I have to take the whole thing apart to fix it, which will take hours. The wooden dowels have to be hammered into the sides, and the hammering damaged the finish (photos attached). The metal cam locks keep coming loose. Just setting the top piece on loosened ones Id already tightened, and Ive had to go back and re-adjust them over and over. I honestly dont know how long this table will last. Dont expect much storage either. The drawers are very shallow. You might fit three PlayStation controllers in one, max. The side panels I thought were glass are actually plastic and feel cheap. And the LED lighting is just basic LED strips you stick on yourself, the kind you can buy anywhere for a few bucks, so its not worth paying extra for. There are better options out there for the money.. Brad. Mon Nov 02 2026

I absolutely love this black coffee table. It is simple and modern. It was easy to assemble and came well packaged. My only complaint about this table is that I wish the top was a full solid piece. I don’t like that it is two separate halves. Overall it is very nice.. Nicole. MI. Thu Sep 24 2026

I gave this table 4 stars even though mine did arrive with some damage. Overall, I really like it! It’s a great size, was very easy to assemble, and the description is pretty accurate. It is listed as cream-white, and I would definitely say it leans more cream in person. The photos on the website make it appear a little more white than it actually is, so just keep that in mind if you’re trying to match it with other white furniture. Even with the damage, I’m happy with the table overall. It fits the space really well and looks great once put together.
