Love the old fashioned look these knobs add to our knotty alder doors. The only thing I might add is you may need to chisel out some wood (as shown above) to lay metal strike plate in flush. If not it seemed to keep the door from closing properly.. Lisa. TX. Mon Jul 08 2019

I love this door knob. I had Emtek before in another house and the quality is the best. At that time I had their melon door knob. This porcelain door knob feels good in your hand. Great customer service. I had a problem, the carpenter I hired to put in the door dropped the rosette and it broke. I called Wayfair and told them what happened. They contacted the manufacturer. I was expecting to pay for a new rosette. I was sent a new one at no charge! Totally unexpected but it made me very happy.. Rosemary. Vero Beach, FL. Sat Mar 15 2025

A contemporary classic and versatile Emtek profile, the Round Knob is subtle but stylish. Its smooth, flat-front has spawned many a variation since its initial introduction. The Round Knob is available as a Passage/Privacy set with additional base material options, all of which pair equally well with both modern and traditional style rosettes.

I like the sturdiness of the knob, it’s solid and heavy. The pin to lock the door doesn’t stay in. I really don’t need it. My policy is to knock before you enter! Over all I like it!. Maria. Philadelphia, PA. Fri Jul 24 2026

These knobs were better quality than I hoped they would be, they look great on my painted (SW Dovetail) interior doors. Easy to install except for one thing. The bolts to hold the two sides together were very tight. I had to remove them after my first attempt, add some WD-40 to the part they screw into, screw the bolts all the way in before putting it back onto the door to open up the channel. After that they went together fairly well. Because of the angle of attaching the bolts and the extra force I had to use, some of the oil rubbed bronze color came off the screw head to show the metal underneath, though I doubt anyone else will ever notice. That only happened on one of the passage door knobs, the other I've installed went together fine, as well as the privacy knob I've installed. 6 more knobs to go.. Shannon. Estero, FL.
