These arrived a few days late which added some stress to the project. They were as pictured but they had to be sanded on the edges prior to painting. I didn’t know this was going to be needed and didn’t plan the time for this, which made my project miss deadline. I will order again but make sure to add extra time in the quotes.. Stephanie. We were looking for a wall accent or covering that had dimension but wasn't wallpaper or a picture. Due to the odd dimension of our room. We selected the Grandby in medium in unfinished MDF. The shipping was quick and we received the product in perfect condition. Since it was unfinished wood, painting took three coats which was fine, just required more patience. Instead of using brad nails we used a pin nailer with one inch pin nails. This allowed for a much smaller or non existent hole/mark left once adhered to the wall. We didn't use adhesive. It wasn't necessary. We LOVE the results and have received lots of compliments.. Anonymous. Sat Feb 19 2022

I am very pleased with these wall panels. I was a little hesitant to purchase something so long, and thin enough to perhaps be damaged in shipping. But every piece was in perfect condition. I bought the alder, which was easy for me to cut with a Japanese style hand saw. Another reviewer mentioned the black charring on the sides, and yes that was a pain because it got all over my hands and on the wall as I was leaning the boards up to visualize. I washed it off as best as I could, then primed and painted. Seems as though the black edging would be a problem if I was just staining or keeping natural. Painting has worked for me though, as did construction adhesive with no nailing required. These wall panels have really jazzed up my entryway and I'm very satisfied with the purchase.. Karen. Gorgeous! Just what I needed for my small closet. The clear class makes maximizes light, while the water glass gives it interest. The gold is brushed. Perfect light for a small space.. Tracy. Westminster, CO. Sun Apr 03 2022

I used the fretwork to create a decorative accent on the ceiling of my bedroom and was impressed with the quality and accuracy of the fretwork pieces. The installation was relatively easy but caulking all the seams was very labor intensive. Overall, I'm thrilled with the outcome and I saved a bundle by doing it myself.. Jim. Washington, Dc.
