I used one panel and cut it in 3 sections. The bad thing is you can see the seams but I tried to hide them with the shelves and decorations. The paneling holds with a nail gun but the shelves held it on better. The paneling is too heavy to hang when it's one piece. Easy to work with, process is a bit tedious and time Consuming due to prep work and finishing details. We chose to attach to the wall using a brad nailer instead of glue to avoid wall damage if neededwant to remove in the future. So we had to caulk the seams as well as the nail holes, then sand, and we finishes it with two coats of our wall color in a glossier finish. This was definitely worth the wait! This wainscoting was so easy to install, it and was the perfect accent piece for this end wall. I love that it did not need to be nailed onto the wall, so filling nail holes and repainting was not needed. We used a common construction adhesive. Have been looking for something to add dimension to my son's room wall, and this is exactly what he wanted..not sure if it will make a difference, acoustically, but once they are adhered to the wall, they will add a lot if pizzazz to his room..was surprised that there were no directions included and no adhesive it anything to apply them to the wall..we will need to do some research before installing them, but,overall, happy with the product.
