While the white ceramic top may be durable, it's fussy, and water, as well as other minor household chemicals, leave liquid spots that must be wiped away almost immediately (the photo doesn't pick up the liquid spots). For that reason, I gave it one star less. However, a wet or dry microfiber cloth can moisten the liquid spots and wipe them away. All I can say is WOW. I had so much trouble finding vanities for my "budget" bathroom remodel. I actually returned 2 before finding these. I was totally thrown by shady "reviews" and would have saved a lot of time if someone accurately and honestly reviewed the items, so here we are and I am writing this to help YOU out. First off, they came next day and were 95% assembled, I only had to put on the legs and the bottom shelf, less than 15 minutes, tools included. Second, and most important, the quality of these vanities is so impressive at any price, but for what I paid, I am more than pleased. I am extremely disappointed with this vanity, especially considering the price. The quality of the materials is absolutely terrible and feels incredibly cheap. This is nowhere near the level of quality I expected from a product being sold for over 500. The vanity arrived with scratches and dents, and the workmanship was just as bad. Several of the pre-drilled holes were out of place and did not line up properly, making assembly much more difficult than it should have been. Even worse, the hardware used to put the vanity together is so cheap that pieces kept falling out while trying to assemble it. For something that is supposed to be permanently installed in a bathroom, the construction and hardware should be sturdy and dependable. Instead, the entire product feels poorly manufactured with very little attention to quality control. The pictures make this vanity look like a beautiful, solid piece of bathroom furniture. What I received did not live up to that impression at all. At this price point, this level of quality is unacceptable. Wayfair should be ashamed to sell a product of this quality for more than 500. I would absolutely not recommend this vanity, and if I had seen the actual quality beforehand, I would never have purchased it. Save yourself the frustration and buy something else.. Robert.
