Item is represented true to color as in Wayfair picture. The size is great for our apartment and the heater works well. The only downside is the flame is not adjustable. But, I was able to lower the intensity by putting the black tray for the stones in and placing logs on top of that. We are happy with the fireplace. Especially for the price! This fireplace is exactly what we were looking for. The length works great to be able to put our new 65 TV above without it overlapping. The flames change colors and size so you can choose whichever combination you like best. Our living room is fairly large (18x13) and it doesnt really heat it up very much. My husband put it together pretty quickly and was happy with how each piece had directions and an arrow sticker on it (I added a picture of the back). Love our new fireplace. Material is pretty inexpensive and can very easily be damaged, as I knew from reading the reviews. One of our stones right in the front (of course) had a pretty good sized chip. Not worth returning, we just mixed some paint colors we had and covered it. Love the flames and the ambiance. You would think that since only thing to assemble is add 4 legs that it would be easy peasy... but no it was almost impossible. The four legs were hollow and small. You had to stick the screw inside the 3 inch hollow leg and attach it to bottom of the fireplace . Trouble was the leg was so narrow that once you had the scre w stuck in the hole you had to take your finger out and pray the screw didn’t not fall out before you got the screwdriver into the screw and start turning. By the 3rd screw we finally got a very small piece of tape and taped the screw onto the end of screwdriver and problem solved. Instructions were also vague about where to position the placement of glass rocks. Fireplace is very small as per description but we placed in a 10 x12 room and it did make it warm if door stayed closed. Only on or off and same with the flame. I also wish it had a remote control but with using in a small room you should be able to reach it when you want the heater on .. Kelly. US. 2021-04-25 17:37:18

I had been watching this electric fireplace for months. Once I knew the closing date on our new home, I ordered it and had it shipped to a friends home near where I was moving! I’m so glad I did because shortly after that is was sold out. (But has since been added back to the website!!!!) It’s just what this new living room needed. I’m not done decorating yet, so a beautiful BIG palladium mirror is going up above the fireplace. It’s the perfect height and I love the fact that it has a nice wide mantel shelf for displaying whatever you want to put up there. This came in two separate boxes. Both which arrived in excellent time. Once I opened the first, it was the black electric insert. It was packaged very well considering the weight on the insert. The second box was so well packed with styrofoam to protect all on the wooden pieces that need d screwed together. I carefully took each piece out, and laid it on our living room rug to cushion it. Each piece was labeled with a letter. I laid them out alphabetically and am so impressed with how carefully protected each was due to the packaging. Once out of the box, I opened all the screws and counted them out, (nothing was missing) then put each set of screws in a separate zip lock bag and labeled the bag with a sharpie. From beginning to end it took about 40 minutes to assemble, Easy-peasy even for me (68 year old woman) The fireplace insert fit perfectly in to the back of the fireplace shell. Beautiful fireplace that gives off good heat. Easy to install and versatile with different color flames. I left the rocks and pebbles out since I like the effect without it. I may try to add it later to see how it looks. It doesn't protrude too far off the wall and appears flat when on even though it is not recessed.
