Follow up of previous review. One side of the Arthella coffee table did not tighten up. I thought bolts were stripped. It ended up being the side panel connectors that were stripped. After receiving the wrong size replacement bolts, I was then sent the entire hardware packet. It was then I discovered it was the side panel connectors that were stripped. The side planel was replaced and it tightened securely. So, now I am a happy camper. I'm just disappointed that it took so long to get this resolved. The length of time was mostly waiting for the packages to arrive. However, my first email took about 4 days to get answered. After that, my emails were answered within 24 hours. Pros: super easy to put together, looks nice if you don't look too closely, seems pretty solid so far (just got it yesterday so I don't have a sense of how well it'll hold up over time). Cons: the construction is not terribly precise. There are little gaps where the leg pieces meet up with the horizontal surfaces because the leg tops weren't cut perfectly at 90 degrees, so it looks a bit, uh, "made at home with love". Overall I'd say most of the money I've spent on this coffee table went toward the solid wood aspect of the piece and not so much the construction quality. It looks like I expected, my stars taken off are entirely about how hard this was to put together. I was also not thrilled that the two wood screws weren't in packages with the rest of the hardware but thrown loose into the entire box so I ended up using a different screw I had because I could only find one. And then I kept trying to put this together and the 2nd and third slices not fitting into the basketweave pieces. Lots of pushing pullingand grunting. Ive always seen these kind of tables at little cafes or coffee shops or what-have-you, and ive totally wanted one. When I saw this at Wayfair, i was over the moon. It looks exactly as pictured in person, if not a bit better. The tiles are all very well detailed and the colors are super vivid. The whole top is bordered with real wood that has a weathered appearance that pulls the entire table together (both literally and aesthetically, ha). There are four legs that just screw in, and theyre spread out enough to keep the whole table sturdy. Those legs are made as the same wood as the rest of the table and it all seems to be weather resistant, or has been so far at least! All of the tiles are glazed and sealed, and hold up to water and washing and all that fun stuff. I wouldnt recommend hosing it off, but some rain or a spilled drink should be fine. Be aware, this is a small table... but its a great porch table or a little plant table indoors. The whole thing feels and looks really sturdy and well made, and i really cant be happier.. Sam Taylor.
