We needed a replacement specifically to accommodate a new adjustable base, since our old bed wasn’t compatible. It’s a super pretty bed and exactly what I wanted but we got a memory foam mattress that comes in a box and since there isn’t enough wood slats that go across, the mattress was falling to the floor through the very large gaps. We were able to just get pieces of ply-wood cut to put under the mattress and that seems to be working fine! Other than that it was super easy to put together. Love the look of this bed. Took a chance bc there were no reviews. The bed delivered in about 5 days. The packing wasn’t the best, but everything was intact and undamaged inside the box. Quality is fair, not exceptional. Upholstery is only on the outside of the bed, not behind the headboard, footboard or rails. Bed is assembled with bolts that are visible on the footboard which I don’t like. The fabric is linen and on the lighter side, not yellowish or grey. Hammered features are a nice contrast to the conventional upholstered bed design. Bed can be mixed with contemporary furniture or antiquish, like I have. All in all, I’d recommend. Great bed for the $. Using it in our spare room. I didnt give it 5 stars because the footboard does not have the same fabric covering it with it being left open and black.
