It’s a super pretty bed and exactly what I wanted but we got a memory foam mattress that comes in a box and since there isn’t enough wood slats that go across, the mattress was falling to the floor through the very large gaps. We were able to just get pieces of ply-wood cut to put under the mattress and that seems to be working fine! Other than that it was super easy to put together. Love the look of this bed. Took a chance bc there were no reviews. The bed delivered in about 5 days. The packing wasn’t the best, but everything was intact and undamaged inside the box. Quality is fair, not exceptional. Upholstery is only on the outside of the bed, not behind the headboard, footboard or rails. Bed is assembled with bolts that are visible on the footboard which I don’t like. The fabric is linen and on the lighter side, not yellowish or grey. Hammered features are a nice contrast to the conventional upholstered bed design. Bed can be mixed with contemporary furniture or antiquish, like I have. All in all, I’d recommend. Overall we love this bed. It was very easy to assemble. There are minor issues in regards to the bed itself. It should have metal slats instead of wood slats. The wood slats are cheap looking and seems flimsy. Once you install the floor legs for support it becomes stable. The bed sits on carpet and I believe it gives it more support, not sure how it would be on a hardwood or vinyl floor. The metal frame scratches easily and as others have said the Velcro strip doesn’t stay attached to the bed. The covers are impossible to use. Luckily this isn’t an issue at the moment for me, it’s more of an aesthetic issue. I bought this bed for one purpose and that was so the bassinet I received as a gift would fit under the bed for when I birth and can keep the baby close to me. I needed a minimum floor clear of 7 inches or higher and this one met those needs. Overall it’s a beautiful headboard and the headboard is soft and fits our guest room/nursery well.. E. Florida. This bed is gorgeous. When it arrived the box was mangled so I was a little nervous but all the pieces were there and it came together. I do have a mark on the corner of the headboard and hoping for some assistance with trying to clean it. Bed does sit low to the ground do I had to get a 9” box spring to pump up the 14” mattress..
