I spent too much on my kitchen renofor for it to be overshadowed by counter stools. These stools are understated which are perfect. Surprisingly sturdy and I love the seat fabric so that I want to find its equivalent to reupholster my dining room chair seats. UPDATE: Examine your purchase carefully! Despite great packing, one of the chair cushions is badly soiled (and impossible to hide). I assume it happened before/during the packing process as the exterior of the box was in good condition.
