We love that there is more than 12” of under-bed clearance, which is enough room for a couple of storage bins filled with seasonal apparel or extra bedding. This metal bed has sturdy slats that provide a solid foundation for your mattress. The system of slats eliminates the need for a box spring – simply top it with the standard mattress of your choice (sold separately). Besides, assembly is required, but from what we hear, it’s pretty straightforward.

The bed seems to be pretty decent, especially for the price. The shipping on the other hand, not so much. It was delivered with the box completely torn to where FedEx rang my bell and handed me pieces that had fallen out. I’m not sure if that is the fault of Wayfair or FedEx, but always check your merchandise because that was unacceptable. Luckily, everything was there.. Anonymous. Sun Sep 27 2026

I rarely write reviews and I knew better than to buy a product with no reviews but here we are. Buyer be warned. This bed frame is beautiful but something went wrong in production, the two base supports were too short so I could only screw them in one side as shown in photo. There’s a big gap in the frame design in the footboard as shown in photo. It took me over 5 hours to set it up because of the design, the bolts are secured from the inside so you can only screw them in about an 18 of an inch at a time I was design engineer the entire time, I’d have liked to send it back but wasn’t sure I could get it to fit back in the boxes to ship so I drilled my own holes where they were missing and made it work.
