For the price, I think this is an okay piece. It definitely does not feel high end but it does look nicer than I expected. It took me 1 hour to build by myself. I had trouble getting the doors to line up correctly so they look slightly uneven. It is kind of wobbly feeling so I would not recommend for a high traffic item. For me, it will just hold serving ware so it is more for the aesthetic. It fits my area perfectly. Hopefully one day I will upgrade to a solid wood piece but this will do the job until then.. Changed out the 90s style decorator-y knobs with plain polished chrome knobs. It looks pretty nice now. Then again there’re the price fluctuations. From the first price, that increased about $153 until dropping down a couple weeks later to $15 over the original. By the time I was ready to buy it was $30 over the original. In a nutshell, I would buy this piece again. We bought this buffet table as entryway furniture to store our shoes, umbrellas, gloves, hats, sunglasses, etc. Our front door opens directly into our small living room, so we needed something that could help us to manage a lot of the things that could go in a hall closet as well as give us a surface to help with packages or groceries. This piece does that for us. It is just deep enough to hold our shoes and the drawers let us store our loose items. I ordered the blue color and it is much darker than I expected. At first I thought they sent the black model by mistake. One of the inner supports arrived cracked, but it turned out not to be a crucial piece. Also, as usual, the packaging was full of styrofoam and the wood was very dusty. I unpacked the box on my front porch and wiped everything down before bringing it in or it would have gotten blue dust all over everything. Assembly was alright, though the back pieces were the wrong size. It doesn't matter for us because that side is against a wall. We didn't like the drawer pulls, so we replaced them.. Anne.
