I'm sorry to break the perfect feedback score but we had issues with our unit. There was significant fading of the colour near the bottom of multiple slats. Wayfair with their outstanding customer service quickly replaced the unit for us. Unfortunately the next one was delivered with other finishing issues. I guess for the price point we wanted a seamless finish with no scratches or scrapes that showed bare wood. This buffet cabinet is exactly the color and style we wanted but still 3 stars. Why A few things 1. It is not easy to assemble. Thankfully our grandson is a furniture technician and is knowledgeable in reading the instructions (that were not clear) and had the tools and patience to get it done. 2. It took him 3 straight hours to get it done and he knew what he was doing! 3. Although correctly installed, the doors and drawers did not line up (see pictures). This sideboard is very nice. It goes great with my black dining table. I do have to say that the instructions aren’t great and for a relatively simple box it takes a long time to assemble (about two hours). But it is solid once assembled and looks quite elegant with the glass and light. My only other complaint beyond the instructions is that the light is powered via a usb connection but it doesn’t come with the wall plug to attach the usb cord to.
