I'm sorry to break the perfect feedback score but we had issues with our unit. There was significant fading of the colour near the bottom of multiple slats. Wayfair with their outstanding customer service quickly replaced the unit for us. Unfortunately the next one was delivered with other finishing issues. I guess for the price point we wanted a seamless finish with no scratches or scrapes that showed bare wood. The metal frame bottom feels sturdy, as do the shelves inside. If we had one complaint, it's that ours needed to be aired out for several weeks; it came with a very strong, unpleasant odor, (noticeable only when one of the doors was open). This buffet cabinet is exactly the color and style we wanted but still 3 stars. Why A few things 1. It is not easy to assemble. Thankfully our grandson is a furniture technician and is knowledgeable in reading the instructions (that were not clear) and had the tools and patience to get it done. 2. It took him 3 straight hours to get it done and he knew what he was doing! 3. Although correctly installed, the doors and drawers did not line up (see pictures).
