Pleased with my purchase. The queen size bed frame and headboard came in excellent condition. The construction appears solid. Assembly took less than 30 minutes. However, if you arent very familiar with furniture assembly instructions, you may struggle a little as none of the pieces were labeled with the numbers used in the instructions. That being said, if you look carefully at the diagrams, you should be fine. Bed assembly is pretty straightforward. It does have a slight varnish smell that has started to fade after 3 days.. A.. Wide, closely spaced wooden slats create a stable foundation for any mattress without the need for a box spring, and non-slip tape helps reduce movement and noise. Thoughtfully packed with all the tools and instructions for quick assembly, this bed is built for effortless setup and lasting appeal.

This bed was phenomenally easy to assemble, and I thoroughly enjoyed the process. I really liked how this bed came with a ratcheted Allen key wrench and a regular Allen key, and I really appreciated that the hardware came in already organized for you in a cardboard blister, so you didn't have to dig around for it in a bag. Instructions were really straightforward and easy to follow, and they also linked a YouTube tutorial to make things easier in case if the graphics were not clear enough. The only major downside is that the under-bed clearance is less than 5", which can limit your storage space, but if you prefer your bed low to the ground, then this bed frame is perfect! If I had to nitpick, then I'd say that the wood parts of the bed have this very strong "new cabinet" smell, but I'm sure that will resolve itself over time. In conclusion, this bed has pretty great value to it because the build experience was very pleasant, the bed looks beautiful, and it's very budget friendly! Would definitely recommend, especially if you get it on sale :). Tim. CA. Wed Sep 23 2026

Ive always had good results ordering from the George Oliver brand. Bed frame was everything I expected it to be. Fairly simple to assemble by myself too. Ive had bedframes in the past where you needed to screw the slats into the side of the frame which was annoying and made it impossible to survive multiple moves. Really appreciated the Velcro and dowel system with this frame. My only complaint would be I received nothing to cover the mounting holes. The holes on the top of the frame and side are left exposed. I dont really care at the end of the day, but makes it feel less finished. The slats felt a little thinner than I would have liked them to. Its fine for me and my partner of a healthy weight but if someone heavier were to slam onto the bed from a long day, Im not sure how well those would hold up over time. Definitely dont jump on the bed. Other fun activities have been tested and approved. Sturdy headboard... Overall, satisfied with the purchase. Sleeps comfortably with no squeaking, feels solid, lots of room underneath for storage.. Murph. Chicago. Mon Sep 07 2026

For the price, the quality is REALLY good. I absolutely LOVE the look of this bed. The headboard is so beautiful. Was looking for a basic, attractive platform bed for a new king size mattress we purchased. This fit the bill perfectly. Pretty straightforward to assemble, though I did use my cordless driver with a hex bit to speed things up. But the included allen wrench worked fine. Pay attention to where the washers go so you don't have to reassemble things more than once! It is solid wood, very sturdy. I drilled holes to affix brackets so I could attach the headboard I already had, which worked just fine.. Todd. Marietta, GA. Thu Aug 27 2026

This bed showcases a distinctive channeled design on both the headboard and footboard, offering a rich sense of texture and dimension. The softly rounded frame contrasts beautifully with the ribbed upholstery, creating a sculptural silhouette that feels both refined and inviting. Framed in either dark or warm wood tones, it blends modern elegance with classic craftsmanship. A statement piece that elevates any bedroom with understated sophistication.

Everything came neatly packaged. The instructions were clear and honestly, it only took me about 20 minutes to assemble by myself. Make sure you do drill in all of the wooden slats or the bed will make noise. Upgrade your experience by throwing on a mattress topper and it’s golden.. José Tito Ramírez. Washington Dc. Slats are included to support your mattress directly, so there's no box spring required. Plus, central support legs deliver extra stability beneath the frame.

Outstanding! Very heavy, and clearly well-made. Noticed the slats in the photo are secured to one another so they don’t move. Assembly is definitely a two person job. And notice in the second up close photo that you must have black sideboard positioned so that the last slat is secure.. Brandie. Sausalito, CA. Wed Jul 29 2026

Absolutely love it. Great quality. Solid wood. Solid construction. The wooden slats start in the middle with dowels and then get screwed in every other slat. The only flaw I found is on the center of the board going across the headboard. Otherwise no issues. This is pictured. Sad that my pillows cover the beautiful headboard. I’m hoping if I switch to standard pillows it’ll show more.. Anonymous. Sat Aug 08 2026

Can’t speak to how easy it was to assemble, my husband managed that, didn’t hear too many F bombs though so likely was easy enough!
