I absolutely love this bed. My husband and I put it together ourselves.. Kathleen. Clarendon, IL. Sun Oct 25 2026

Update your bedroom with this platform bed frame and all its traditional charm – plus, some modern practicality. It's crafted from steel in a classic silhouette and comes with wooden slats that eliminate the need for a box spring. The design features an elegant slatted headboard showcasing vintage-inspired turns details and a softly arching top, paired with a matching footboard to complete the look. What's more, the 10" under-bed clearance means there's also plenty of room for a couple storage bins.

I did a lot of research regarding the weight capacity of metal beds. We have a king size black beauty rest mattress that works best with box springs so the total mattress weight has to be around 200lbs. My husband and I combined are just under 400 lbs. so I wanted a minimum of 700 lbs to more than cover. Also my husband is 6’2” and I was concerned about his feet getting caught in the footboard. We tested it without the box springs because the bed doesn’t require those. He didn’t have any issues but we ended up adding the box springs anyway. Now the bed with the springs goes higher than the footboard. The mattress height alone is 14 inches and box springs add about 4 inches. The bed frame is heavy at just under 103 pounds so that was important. I didn’t want a lightweight frame. The decor on the head and footboard is beautiful, gives an antique vibe like the bed my grandmother had but no squeaking. We have slept on this for just under a week and there is no sound. We were able to put this together is about twenty minutes. The instructions are clear with numbers for connecting pieces that slid into place easily. We did use the rubber mallet included to secure each piece. Love the bed, very happy with the sturdiness and look.. Linda. Kansas City, MO. Thu Sep 10 2026

This four-poster bed brings classic style and a relaxed foundation to your space. It's crafted with a steel frame that offers stability, while the integrated footboard creates a balanced silhouette. The padded headboard features foam fill and soft polyester upholstery, giving you a cushioned backing while sitting up to read or relax. Designed for use with a box spring and mattress, this low-profile frame grounds your setup while elevating your home's decor. Plus, underbed clearance gives you helpful extra room to store off-season essentials out of sight.

Beautiful bedframe super easy too build. Super easy to clean. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because we have an 8 Sleep mattress (heavier) had to lay down extra support beams. Will work perfectly with any normal mattress.. Haley. Hastings, MN. Wed Oct 07 2026

It's crafted with a solid and engineered wood frame, showcasing a slatted headboard and matching footboard for a cohesive, balanced silhouette. Sleek steel and sustainable bamboo come together in this platform bed to bring you the best of contemporary craftsmanship. A solid bamboo headboard highlights the wood’s natural grain, perfectly paired with a black metal frame for a modern, balanced look. Designed for both style and durability, bamboo offers an easy-to-maintain surface, while the sturdy steel base provides reliable support. Wide, closely spaced wooden slats create a stable foundation for any mattress without the need for a box spring, and non-slip tape helps reduce movement and noise. Thoughtfully packed with all the tools and instructions for quick assembly, this bed is built for effortless setup and lasting appeal.

This bed was phenomenally easy to assemble, and I thoroughly enjoyed the process. I really liked how this bed came with a ratcheted Allen key wrench and a regular Allen key, and I really appreciated that the hardware came in already organized for you in a cardboard blister, so you didn't have to dig around for it in a bag. Instructions were really straightforward and easy to follow, and they also linked a YouTube tutorial to make things easier in case if the graphics were not clear enough. The only major downside is that the under-bed clearance is less than 5", which can limit your storage space, but if you prefer your bed low to the ground, then this bed frame is perfect! If I had to nitpick, then I'd say that the wood parts of the bed have this very strong "new cabinet" smell, but I'm sure that will resolve itself over time. In conclusion, this bed has pretty great value to it because the build experience was very pleasant, the bed looks beautiful, and it's very budget friendly! Would definitely recommend, especially if you get it on sale :). Tim. CA. Wed Sep 23 2026

The material resists rusting and scratching, and the frame supports a mattress without quaking or loud noises, giving you a good night’s sleep. I love this bed! I was thrilled to find the look and size of canopy bed in my price range that I was seeking after many failed Facebook marketplace attempts (and ghosts). It was pretty easy to put together though I do not recommend putting it together solo like I did- more of a two person job (just requires the included Allen wrench which was super convenient). It’s not necessarily top quality or super sturdy which makes sense considering the price, but it is fully functional and aesthetically pleasing. Probably not best for a super largeheavy person or multiple people (I’m only about 120 lbs). I feel like the middle support legs shift when I get on it because the crossbar slats are round and roll. This may be partially because I have a large air mattress and the slats roll against its relatively slick surface - it may not do this with a more typical fabric mattress. I put some large pieces of particle board (from the packaging of another Wayfair purchase) under the mattress to serve as sort of a bunky board that minimized this. Overall, I’m satisfied customer..
