I bought this bench because I thought I needed somewhere to sit and put on my shoes. What I apparently needed was a whole new personality. This bench instantly made my entryway look like I hired an interior designer who charges way more than I’m willing to admit. The wood has that beautiful, rustic, perfectly imperfect texture that makes it look like it has a story—even though I ordered it from my couch while wearing pajamas. It’s sturdy, beautiful, and the perfect size. I added a pillow and throw, and suddenly my entryway is giving “cozy European farmhouse” instead of “please ignore the pile of shoes by the door.” My only complaint is that now I want to redecorate the entire house around the bench. 1010 would absolutely buy again. So far so good! The bench was delivered quickly and did not require assembly. I was surprised by the weight of the bench. It’s pretty light, yet it’s supposed to hold up to 500 pounds. I hope it holds at least half that. It’s being used by the door to put on shoes. The baskets don’t feel real sturdy, but all in all, this bench looks great and it was the perfect size for my area.
