The bed itself is great, and 90% of it is well constructed and easy to assemble. Then, unfortunately, there are a couple of problems. One, you absolutely need a drill to get the wheels on the trundle. No pilot holes, and it is impossible to screw them in without, no matter what the instructions say. Two, the instructions are wrong (upside down, really) in one spot about the assembly of the facade on the trundle. When you follow the instructions, it will not fit under the bed. And we love the pull out trundle twin size bed for when they have their cousins or friends over! We currently have our nugget play couch on the trundle rather than a mattress, but will be getting a mattress for it. The only complaint I have is that it came with absolutely no extra hardware incase a piece is broken or gets lost during set up, not a single extra bolt, screw or wooden dowel, but otherwise we are very happy with this purchase!!.
