I really like these chairs! They’re comfortable and provide great support, and overall I’m very happy with how they look and feel. I’m giving them four stars because the assembly instructions are not very clear. The first chair took us way too long to assemble because we followed the instructions exactly as they were shown. It wasn’t until we finished the first chair that I realized the instructions are actually in the wrong order. I started with the last step instead, and after that, assembling the other chairs was super easy and much faster. For a moment, we honestly regretted buying them because the first one was so frustrating to put together. But once we figured out the correct way to assemble them, it really wasn’t that bad. These chairs are compact but sturdy. I love the Mid Century Modern look to them. Unboxing was a bit frustrating—the Styrofoam crumbled everywhere, creating quite a mess, and the screws were taped to it, which made cleanup even more difficult when removing them. During assembly, pieces F and G (the lower cross bracing) were especially tricky to align, and many of the screws didn’t line up easily with the predrilled holes. Step 10 was particularly challenging, as there were no predrilled holes for those screws, making installation much harder than expected. The black dining set really looks good visually appealing for my dining table area. It’s just like in the pictures. Really excited to pick a center piece decor. Dining table was easy to put together, by just one person. The packaging had a patched up area. Dining table isn’t wide enough for two people to seat with their chairs tucked under the table, and its height is a bit low. I had to use the black foam that was used to secure the tempered glass table top to lift the table height an inch up ) Chairs were easy to put together. But no screwing tool for the M4x42mm screws. You’ll need a power drill and a cross-head drill bit to screw the screw into the wooden portion of the seat. After putting the chairs together, some of the legs weren’t even in height, so the chairs are a bit rocky, but it isn’t noticeable when seated on the chair. It’s really pretty looking dining set. The chairs came first and well packed then the table arrived 3 days later. It’s easy to assemble. I like the idea that I don’t have to take out the leaf extension , just fold and it goes underneath the table. I had a little problem when i opened the box (table) the hardware box was opened, bolts and washers are everywhere.
