These Hevea butcher block countertops were just what I wanted for my new office. They were well packaged and arrived without damage. A few coats of matte poly were easy to apply. Nice smooth edges too so no additional sanding needed. They were less than half the cost of what I could get through my local big box DIY store. It is a beautiful island. It does take few hours to assemble, it is very heavy. The only downside is our countertop came in cracked, but I contacted costumer service right away, explained the situation, had to send it pictures.
