These Hevea butcher block countertops were just what I wanted for my new office. They were well packaged and arrived without damage. A few coats of matte poly were easy to apply. Nice smooth edges too so no additional sanding needed. They were less than half the cost of what I could get through my local big box DIY store. This island is a great value for the price. The drawers and doors close softly, and the materials and texture feel high-quality. The quarts has beautiful veining. The instructions were just pictures and while some were expanded pictures, very difficult to figure out some areas. In addition, some pieces I had to reverse...maybe it was me but once I did that, things fit correctly.
