It feels sturdy, but I have two complaints (1) the hanging racks didn’t have pre-drilled holes on one side, which made things confusing (2) the top part of the cabinet was scuffed during shipping. It is crafted from solid and manufactured wood in a dark cherry finish.

This was well packaged and in good shape. The parts inventory was correct; I had everything I needed, though I provided my own screwdriver. The 8-pages of instructions were clear, but I suggest reading thoroughly before starting, and keep referring to them. I had to watch YouTube videos to understand the "cam screws" and "cam bolts" but they did a great job of fastening the parts securely. The instructions recommend two people do the assembly, but I'm one determined old woman and did it alone, though it took hours. The finished product is sturdy and looks good. Be aware it is called "dark cherry" color, but it is not stained wood, it is painted a rather deep, dark purple. I didn't realize this till I used an LED flashlight to insert the bolts. The vintage style of this bar is very nice… I also really like the size for the space that I put it in. We put a granite top on it that matches the granite in our kitchen and it turned out beautifully. I only gave it four stars for three reasons… The shelves inside are fixed not allowing adjustment so bottles that are larger don’t fit upright… This could be my issue as maybe I didn’t read the description well enough. Secondly, while the piece does feel sturdy, the materials aren’t super solid, but they are good enough… Lastly, the paint job could be better, but does pass… I think I will end up, repainting it in the future.
