HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE product. It should be considered fraud to claim this is solid wood in the description. It is paper soft, extremely difficult to put together, and has crushed places all over it. It looks nothing like the photos- look closely at the photos I posted and you’ll see the wood grain is all fake. It also smells strongly of chemicals like bug spray. Extremely unhappy.. Crissy. I am very pleased with this 58" Farmhouse Wine Bar Cabinet with Stemware Rack & Bottle Storage. It is exactly what I was looking for and provides a beautiful way to store and display wine bottles, glasses, and other bar essentials. I really like the farmhouse design, and it looks even better in person. We did have one issue with a door handle. The screw would not hold the handle securely, so I contacted customer service, hoping they could simply send a replacement handle or hardware. Unfortunately, their only option was to send an entirely new cabinet for free. I certainly didn't want two cabinets or the hassle of replacing the whole unit over one handle, so I ended up gluing the screw into the door, and that solved the problem. I was given a 20% credit for my hassle. The cabinet also has a slight cedar/wood scent, which I actually really like—it gives it that nice new-furniture smell. Aside from the handle issue, I absolutely love this cabinet. It's attractive, functional, has plenty of storage, and is just what I wanted for the space. I would definitely recommend it, but I wish replacement parts were available for small issues rather than having to replace the entire cabinet.* We applied sanding sealer to the outside to seal in the cedar smell, and it did help with toning down the cedar aroma.. We do like this but have to say it is not at all what we were expecting. It is made with reclaimed wood from old homes - which is really neat actually - but it does have its imperfections. While I don’t hate them (they provide character) I think it’s worth noting and have shared a close up photo of you may receive. The pull out shelf is great and it holds quite a bit for its compact size. There is a smell, maybe from the stain, that we are trying to air out at the moment.. Abigail. The Woodlands, TX.
