This is great. Seems structurally stable. Easy to put together. Two complaints. The silver metal bolts are visible on the outside of the posts, so I’m spray painting those to match the frame. The bigger complaint is that the mattress slides. The bottom rails are smooth and flush. there’s no recessed area for the mattress to sit in to keep it in place. Frame size must be specified at the time of purchase. The frame is not adjustable and can only fit one size or the other. The dimensions of the king bedding need to be 76"w x 80" long. This frame requires the use of a foundation or box spring. This heavy-duty frame has ten (10) legs that utilize our uniquely designed high-strength glides. The frame using these glides has been tested with a 2000-pound load. The glides are stronger than a wheel while maintaining the same or better mobility. These glides are safe on all flooring surfaces. They will not mark or scuff a wood floor like wheels. This frame sits approximately 8" off the floor. If no headboard is used, the headboard brackets can be left off and the bed centered on the frame, assuring that the frame cannot bump and damage the wall. All tools are included for a simple, quick, trouble-free assembly process. Headboard brackets are included and must be bolted onto the frame to ensure maximum adjustability to fit all designs of headboards. The headboard brackets are adjustable in both height and width and have 2 1/2" and 4" hole centers. All hardware and tools required for mounting the frame to a headboard are included. The steel in this frame is a high-strength, high-carbon, hot-rolled steel. The steel consists of 97% recycled material, which makes this frame a heavy-duty, environmentally friendly product.

This bed is built so beautifully! It’s definitely not a bed you’re building from scratch. Essentially it’s attaching the sideboards to the head and footboard along with screwing the wooden slats onto the center supporting platform and the sideboards. I wish there were screws on both sides of every wooden slat (some are only screwed into the middle platform) but aside from that this is a very sturdy bed for a reasonable price. The frame seems pretty lightweight, but the person putting it together said it's sturdy. I ordered this for a guest bedroom, so it won't be getting daily use. I like the roominess under the bed allowed by the height of the bed frame, which makes it good for storage if you're inclined. The 14" tall frame gives about 12" of space under it.
