I really like this table. Setup wasnt too bad, but I did miss one thing and had to undo and redo a part (the two sides of one part are not symmetrical so you have to make sure you assemble with the same length sides on the same side). Our lift-top coffee table features a wooden top that smoothly raises or lowers by a high-quality metal mechanism and spring. Great for a laptop, writing surface, or tray, this table is versatile and dynamic. Two lower shelves at the same height give you spots for board games, blankets, and baskets. And the upper compartment is the perfect stowaway location for remotes and coasters. This table can support up to 200 lbs.

The instructions were straightforward and the assembly process was mostly easy. The table feels solid, looks nice, and was a great deal. However, the two metal lifting mechanisms included with my package did not match. Only one of them lined up with the diagram on the instructions, and neither one lined up correctly with the screw holes in the table. Ultimately I used a power drill and simply screwed them in as well as I could (I did not want to deal with a back-and-forth attempt at replacements). Now the top panel does not line up completely perfectly with the corners of the table when closed, but fundamentally it works fine and rests level. Good quality build. Excellent for the price. Was a bit smaller than what i expected. Quick shipping, and good packaging. Assembly - Easy, about to 1-2 hours depending on your experience. Most tricky part of assembly was screwing in the lift-top mechanism into the table sides and top, due to lack of space and odd position for screwing in. As far as press board furniture goes, it's pretty sturdy. It's not tiny like a lot of tables online but not too big either. However one of the pistons in the lift mechanism has no pressure so it's slightly awkward to open and close (definitely use a hand on each side when you do it). The provided stickers for covering the screw holes aren't the right color (see photo) so that's kind of annoying. Disappointed with Wayfair though. The price dropped by $20 the day after I ordered, before it had even shipped, and they refused to price match. It's pretty standard to match a price drop within a week or two after a purchase. This table is cute. However, when I unboxed it, it already had a scratch across the top. The other issue was even though its all screwed in all the way the hydraulics seem to have issues. When opening you have to pull relatively hard as well as be careful when you close it because it drops hard. The hydraulic is also very wobbly and i cant figure out why.
