A solid bench option - works great for our space. Easy assembly and it was clear and quick. However, we could tell there were some imperfections on the benches and they were just touched up with some kind of wood putty, no touch up putty was provided but it would have been nice to have. If I could give this purchase a negative I would. Do not buy this bench. It was sent wrapped in bubble wrap. One layer of bubble wrap. It’s filthy, and continues to drop rotting wood on the floor also unusable bc it will get on clothing if you brush past it. It has marker on it and doesn’t come off. It’s uneven and doesn’t sit straight in the floor. Cracks are irreparable and poorly made. And the most frustrating part is it damaged, and wayfair wants me to go buy new bubble wrap and wrap it up to return it. There’s hunks of square pieces of wood that actually can be picked up and removed from the bench, like a puzzle piece. Customer service was lousy with helping to resolve the problem. Nothing but a headache for a bench I was really looking forward to having. Get it somewhere else. I asked to have a replacement bench sent and they said no! "Take a seat" translates in every language, and this antique bench works in every setting. A "found" object, this is crafted from a wide variety of woods and varies widely in length.

The description indicated this bench was 83 wide. When we received it one leg was 2 inches shorter than the rest and it was only 60 in wide..the description was not correct and it is a handmade item out of reclaimed wood that will vary in size. What a HUGE disappointment! The table arrived badly damaged and was not the design advertised in the picture. I waited months for this table to be back in stock and ordered it immediately when an email was sent telling me I could now purchase. When contacting support, I was told the table that I had ordered was not available and that the manufacturer must have changed the design and not notified Wayfair. The black lacquer painting is sloppy and this piece is not worth the $500 I paid. Wayfair has agreed to refund my money but now I'm stuck with the chore of having to deal with the return and timely correspondence with Wayfair and I have ZERO extra time to deal with this. What a HUGE inconvenience. I am going to recontact customer support and request that they have someone professionally pack this because it came in packing that was so inadequate and I don't want the responsibility of it arriving to them in even worse share. Also going to request an RMA and prepaid shipping as this was not brought up when I was told I could return it for a refund.
