This is a decent fold-a-way bed but the bars can be felt if you weigh 225. My nephew tried it out first and said he felt the bars all night on his back. I bought a four inch mattress topper and it slept much better. The mattress is just too thin for a heavier person. Otherwise, the craftsmanship of the bed is quality. We had to flip the footboard to where we were putting the headboard to make the holes match - so before you panic, try that! Works great. The tolerances weren't 100%, I had to trim off some material so that one of the legs would sit flush against the frame. If you're a tall king, you may have to sleep at an angle to avoid your feet falling between the mattress and the frame. I'm 6'4" and have just enough room to stay on the bed.
