Definitely my favorite bed frame purchased from wayfair. I prefer the wooden ones over metal because they are quiet! It was fairly easy to assemble, just time consuming so be prepared for that! Overall though, the look is great as well as the quality! Instructions can be a bit confusing in some areas though. Also, if you have anything more than a 12” mattress, you will not be able to open the bottom door all the way without sliding the mattress back as you can see in my photos. I purchased two of these beds. Before buying, I read several reviews mentioning that mattresses had fallen through, or that the bed had fallen apart. After assembling both frames, I can understand how that could potentially happen — at least with one of them. There was a noticeable difference in material quality between the two beds. One feels solid and sturdy, and the slats seem like they will hold up well. The other felt more fragile during assembly. The “wood” (not real wood) was splintering slightly while we were screwing the parts together, which makes me question the durability over time. Assembly took about 2.5 hours per bed with two people. They look great once assembled, and I really love how they turned out. However, the inconsistency between the two frames makes me think quality control may be an issue. Solid bed frame for a young person or lighter individuals. Very strong support for mattress due to support legs. Construction is generally strong. Headboard and footboard are misleading in the picture. Footboard insert is 3/16” fiber board and headboard is short so it gets hidden behind the mattress. Otherwise a nice bed frame.. Daniel. Perfectly nice bed frame. Very easy to put together and seems very solid. Even though it says no boxspring needed, I wanted to use mine anyway for a little extra height. Unfortunately, the boxspring doesn’t fit very well on the frame and one side is always on the rail, while the other side is where it should be. That’s the one downside to this frame. I really like the Murphy bed it was delivered on time and was in almost perfect condition. The item had one minor scratch, and it was easy to paint over. The bed was not easy to assemble, but I had help. It looks nice and is easy to lift updown.
