Soooo... They are so cute. The first bar stools took me 45 minutes to put together. One bolt would not go in! No one in my home could get it in. It seemed like the metal back was bend wonky and the screw was no long enough to thread! So I eventually gave up on that chair and went to the others. The other three took 5 minutes to put together. These chairs are so beautiful! I ordered the brown chairs with black legs and they are a soft modern brown that adds warmth and texture. They feel very durable once assembled. Follow the instructions!! I used weights on a book to help the legs level while I tightened bolts and screws. If you have arthritis, you’re going to need help with assembly, as it takes some physical force with the hands on tools. I ordered 6 chairs total. 2 (one box) of the chairs were defective. I messaged Wayfair through the app, explaining what was wrong with the chairs with pictures added and they responded via text within 5 minutes. The resolution was very seamless. These are great and very comfortable! If I had one criticism it would be to ignore the instructions when it says to tighten the legs to the foot rail to 100%. Definitely put all screws in (legs to seat and legs to foot rail) at 50%, then align and tighten the legs to the seat to 100% BEFORE you tighten the foot rail..otherwise you will not be able to align the chair legs in a way that minimizes the gaps between the parts, creating pinch points for fingers when scooting in your chair.
