Open-Frame Beds

This platform bed updates your home with a vintage-inspired look that blends seamlessly into any traditional or farmhouse setup. Constructed from steel, it features a slatted headboard and footboard that introduce an airy, open profile to your arrangement. Center support legs work alongside the perimeter frame to deliver a stable sleeping foundation that handles everyday use smoothly. Because the system includes its own steel slats, your mattress rests directly on the base to simplify your setup. Plus, it features an adjustable headboard height so you can easily customize the clearance to suit your specific mattress thickness.

The bed frame is simple but quite pretty and sturdy. The low profile footboard doesn’t cut into a small room - helps to keep it open. And there are two height choices. The taller choice allows for a nice space underneath for storage. The only thing I worry about is the plastic spacers that keep the crossbars for the platform in place. If a person needed to take the bed apart for any reason, I would worry that those spacers would wear out.. Michele. Harlingen, TX. Fri May 15 2026

So far loving this bed frame! It’s very easy to put together. You only need the Allen key wrench that’s included. We wanted a higher bed to be able to have space for under bed storage in our small apartment. Our mattress is a 10” so it does cover the head board a little than I wanted but overall still happy! It’s sturdy and the height gives ample storage room.. Sarah. Nyc. Thu Oct 08 2026

We haven't put this together yet, but I pulled out one of the boards and it looks like it will be a solid bed. We bought for our lake house. The black finish is nice too.. Laura. Stevens Point, WI. Wed Oct 07 2026

This minimalist metal platform bed features a sleek arrow design on the headboard and footboard. The durable frame offers optimal stability and ample storage underneath, ideal for a modern, clutter-free bedroom.

Assembly was easy and all parts were included in the box. I plan to purchase an 8" mattress, because a 10" mattress will be taller than the footboard. The pictures make it look like there is more space for a deeper mattress. Overall it seems like it will be a good, affordable guest bed.. Katie. Denton, TX. Wed Sep 16 2026

This metal bed frame features a sleek, modern design. Crafted from premium steel, it provides stable support and effectively minimizes squeaking. The curved headboard and footboard offer a classic, safe aesthetic, while the 12-inch clearance height allows for easy storage underneath, helping keep your room tidy.

Our beautiful cats taught me that upholstered headboards are just a canvas for their kitty claws to destroy. As such, I had to find a replacement that the smallest members of our family won't take as an open challenge. I've always loved metal bedframes for their simplicity and timelessness. This bedframe provided the perfect economical solution to our in house designer (destructor) problem. Bonus: it looks far more expensive than it is. It went together quickly (I built it by myself in less than an hour), the instructions were clear, and so far no squeaking. I'll report back should that change over time.. Michelle. Edison, NJ. Sturdy frame. Impressed with under bed storage area! Also takes up less space than a regular queen frame. Definitely recommend!. Annette. Fri Aug 28 2026
