Modern Murphy Beds

Transform your living space with the Murphy Cabinet Bed, a smart furniture solution designed for modern homes. This multifunctional piece looks like a stylish cabinet during the day and quickly converts into a comfortable Full-size guest bed whenever needed. Designed for small apartments, home offices, and guest rooms, this space-saving bed helps maximize your available space without sacrificing comfort or style.

Did take a while to put together, but was able to do it by myself. Got this for a guest bed in the office that only gets used sporadically. For a mattress we are using a Sleep Number C4 bed we just upgraded from in the bedroom. This cabinet was perfect as it had the solid base a Sleep Number requires and the entire bed, mattress pad, pillows, and comforter ALL fit inside the cabinet and drawer. I did have to drill a small hole in the bed base near the head off the bed for the air tube and another in the back board to plug in the air pump, but both are in places not visible with the bed open or closed. We contemplated a traditional Murphy bed, but they seem to need the weight of a mattress to help hold them open? And they lacked storage space for all the other bedding to make up the bed. Since storage space is always in short supply, this bed seemed a better fit for our needs. I only gave 4 stars for some minor gripes. First are the stickers used to cover the cam locks. Wow is that cheesy. Most furniture I have put together using cam locks have a plastic disc that goes into the cam lock hole. However, the only place these are visible are the inside of the headboard when the bed is open. I would have appreciated plastic caps for this area vs the stickers. My only other complaint is about the cam locks themselves. Other furniture I have put together (including the glass door cabinet next to the bed chest in the photo) had a stop so you can't insert the screwdriver too far and potentially run into the cam lock pin when turning the cam lock. I am not sure if this is what kept happening, but I did have a few cam locks where I just could not get them to turn as far as they should have. Will call this one user error, but with a properly designed cam lock this isn't an issue. Like I said, pretty minor, and overall very pleased with the bed for what we needed. It is also really easy to open and set up as I had to do that half a dozen times or so figuring out how to get the Sleep Number air pump connected and the holes drilled.. Cheran. Lakeview, OR. Looks beautiful! Some parts came damaged but got replacements super quick with no problem. When putting together you have to take apart the metal sliding tracks to install. Only part I got stuck on. You have to slide it twice before you can see the latch to release the third part. Also beware the metal parts have oil goop in the crevices. Gets on your hands when sliding them apart but washes off easily. Will have to buy another mattress to go with the one provided. Personal preference but the mattress it comes with seems thin. Overall happy with purchase and would recommend!. Tanisha. Chicago, IL. Wed Sep 16 2026

The bed can easily be set up in a few minutes. The Murphy bed/cabinet looks great closed and looks like an expensive piece of furniture. Very functional and quality materials! We are so pleased to have chosen this over another iteration!. Maria. MO. Wed Sep 09 2026

This is a brilliantly designed, multifunctional piece! It may look like a spacious drawer cabinet, but it actually transforms into a comfortable bed. As a cabinet, the top surface can be used to display picture frames, books, flowers, or decorative lighting to enhance your home décor. When it's time to sleep, simply open the front panel, and it turns into a bed (mattress not included). Additionally, the integrated USB port on the side allows you to easily charge your devices at night. The vintage-style top panel, combined with white high-quality MDF, offers a simple yet elegant look that seamlessly blends into your home décor.

This bed is exactly as described. It is perfect ! A bit of a challenge to put together as it took quite a few hours to do so, but definitely worth!. Kiley. Verplanck, NY. Wed Oct 07 2026

Wildon Home® Murphy Wall Bed, White, Space-Saving Furniture Bed Frame for Bed Room,Guest Room,Home Office 90% Plywood, 5% Solid Wood, 5% Alloy Steel

A lot of work to put together but totally worth it. I love the look of the bed. The only critique is the anchors that came with it for the wall. We used other ones to ensure it would stay in place.. Kevin. Waterloo, ON. Tue Aug 18 2026
