These chairs are adorable and very sturdy. My 18-mo old and 3.5 year old grand-babes love sitting on these chairs at their little table. The shelf attaches to the chair back with hook & loop strips, that's a bit loose and wiggly but probably easily fixed with the addition of more strips.
