Follow the instructions!! I used weights on a book to help the legs level while I tightened bolts and screws. If you have arthritis, you’re going to need help with assembly, as it takes some physical force with the hands on tools. I ordered 6 chairs total. 2 (one box) of the chairs were defective. I messaged Wayfair through the app, explaining what was wrong with the chairs with pictures added and they responded via text within 5 minutes. The resolution was very seamless.
